REBORN is a 501c3 Non-Profit that believes
saving lives requires disruptive new approaches, fearless leadership, and a renewed sense of
urgency. We are a suicide prevention based organization that is developing new forms of
treatment, awareness, and outreach through benefit events, advocacy programs, school
programs, college chapters, and more.
Did you know that the second leading cause of death among ages 18-24 in the world, is
suicide. We are determined to change this.
October 10th is World Mental Health Day, and we will be holding a wine-tasting event on Friday, October 11th, 6 to 10 pm at the Old York Winery to raise money to support our 4-step suicide prevention program.
Additional to tasting an reds, whites, and assorted sweet wines- the event will host a variety of fundraising activities which give back to the community, including a 50/50 and tricky-tray gift basket raffle.
Help us reach our goals to:
- EDUCATE: By launching our Peer Counseling Certifications, we are educating today's youth who may be the first to see the signs of a friend suffering with suicidal thoughts
- MAKE A CHANGE: We are fundraising to launch our 4 step program, which gives young people the ability to work with a (1) Peer to Peer Counselor, (2) Therapist, (3) Life Coach, and (4) Monthly Support Group. These services combined can cost up to $100 per session, per service. That can be up to $800 a month if you're using each service at least twice. We are offering this program for only $200 per month.
- OFFER FINANCIAL HELP: We are creating a fund that will allow us to offer scholarships to young people who may not be able to afford $200/month. We want to use this scholarship to give young people the ability to access 4 steps for no cost.
